The Orlando Magic surprised a lot of people in the 2023-2024 NBA Season.
They weren’t necessarily supposed to be a top team in the East, yet they finished the year with the fifth-best record in the conference.
With this in mind, the Magic have secured a playoff spot and are slated to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in round one.
There have been many reasons for the Magic’s successful run down the stretch, but it’s hard to talk about this team without mentioning Paolo Banchero’s name.
Banchero was a dominant force for the Magic this season, highlighted by a recent Twitter post from the Magic PR team.
They highlighted that Banchero is the youngest player in league history to lead his team in points, rebounds, and assists in one season.
At 21 years, 154 days old, @OrlandoMagic forward @Pp_doesit becomes the youngest player in @NBAHistory to lead his team in scoring, rebounding and assists in a single season.

They also mentioned that only four others under the age of 23 have done this, putting Banchero in exclusive company.
Regardless of what happens to the Magic in their upcoming postseason appearance, this season will likely be a massive victory for this organization.
Banchero has established himself as a star and a leader for this team, and he is joined by several impactful playmakers who should be on this roster for a long time.
With many of the league’s older players looking to retire in the next few years, the new regime of star players is looking to make a name for themselves.
It might be early in Banchero’s career, but if he can keep it up, he could be viewed as one of the players of the future in this league.
