The Orlando Magic are one of the youngest franchises in the NBA.
For most of their history, they’ve struggled to stay competitive outside of the Shaquille O’Neal and the Dwight Howard era.
The fans have watched this team struggle more often than not.
That’s why it was so nice to see that they reached 43 wins for the season, their most in the past 13 years.
With that in mind, coach Jamahl Mosley tipped his hat to his team, stating that he was very excited for the organization and the fan base (via Bally Sports Florida).
“It’s so exciting for this organization, for this fanbase, which has waited a long time to have a group of young men that represent the game the right way,” Mosley said.

The Magic’s turnaround has been nice to watch.
Even though their record was far from impressive last season, they had already shown glimpses of this potential.
Former No. 1 pick Paolo Banchero looks like a legitimate generational player and building block, and they’ve put together one of the most dynamic and versatile rosters in the game.
The Magic’s jumbo lineups with big men playing like guards and guards playing like big men have turned them into a matchup nightmare, with five guys who can switch on defense and knock down shots on offense.
Of course, they’re still either a piece or a couple of years away from being an NBA championship-caliber team.
But with all their available cap space and the way they’ve built and developed this impressive group of young players, the future finally seems quite bright for one of the few franchises that has never won an NBA championship in their history.
